Voice dashboard
Auto-voice creates a fresh channel for every group that joins a hub. The voice dashboard is where you set the hub, ship templates, decide what owners can do, and watch live channels — all from six tabs.
Before you start
- STANDARD tier or higher (some controls are PREMIUM/PRO-only)
- You have voice.manage on this server
- SYNTHET has Manage Channels, Move Members and Connect at the parent voice category
- A voice category to host hub and child channels (created during setup if missing)
What you'll see
A header with a Save settings button and six tabs underneath. Live monitoring lives in Channels; everything else is configuration.
Overview tab
Read-first dashboard. Tells you whether voice is healthy.
Health badge
Top of the tab. Green if a hub is set, the bot has the right permissions and there were no errors in the last 24h. Red on misconfiguration with a one-click jump to the offending tab.
How it works diagram
An inline illustration showing the user → hub → cloned channel flow. Useful when explaining the system to other staff.
Live snapshot
- Active channels right now.
- Distinct users connected.
- Top 3 most-used templates this week.
Setup tab
Pick the hub. Without it nothing else works.
Hub configuration
The 'click to create' voice channel users join. Auto-created if you click Quick setup.
Category where new channels are spawned. Defaults to the hub's category.
Which template applies when a user joins the hub directly.
e.g. {user}'s room, Squad #{n}, {template} #{n}.
Example: {user}'s room
Cleanup rules
| Setting | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Delete when empty | Toggle | On | Auto-delete a child channel as soon as the last member leaves. |
| Empty grace period | Seconds | 30 | Wait this long before deleting. Lets owners reconnect after a Discord blip. |
| Max channels per user | Number | 1 | Prevents one person spawning many empty channels at once. |
Templates tab
Ship fully-configured channel types. 11 built-in templates ship out of the box.

Common questions answered here
- Who closed channel X yesterday?
- How many channels has player Y created this week?
- Why did the staff template fail to spawn at 22:00?
Common tasks
Stand up auto-voice from scratch
No hub yet, fresh server.
- Open DashboardVoiceSetup.
- Click Quick setup. SYNTHET creates a parent category and a hub channel called Click to create.
- Pick a default template — General is a safe choice.
- Save settings, then connect to the hub yourself to verify a child channel spawns.
Add a raid-event channel for tonight
Bigger limit, raid-leader gets priority speaker.
- Open DashboardVoiceTemplates.
- Click the Raid event built-in card to open the editor.
- Bump the user limit if needed.
- Add the role that should get priority speaker under Special permissions.
- Save. Members can now use /voice template raid_event to switch their channel.
Lock down NSFW unintentionally being toggled
Stop owners flipping channels to NSFW.
- Open DashboardVoiceFeatures.
- Find NSFW toggle under PRO controls.
- Turn it off so owners can no longer set their channel as age-restricted.
- Click Save settings.
