Thresholds & Sensitivity
Fine-tune how sensitive BIE is to behavioral changes. These settings control anomaly detection, escalation triggers, and data retention.
Configuration Parameters
Anomaly Z-Score
Standard deviations from mean before flagging anomalous behavior. Default: 2.50. Lower values increase sensitivity.
Burst Threshold
Number of rapid events (messages, reactions) within a window before triggering burst detection. Used to identify spam-like behavior.
Correlation Threshold
Minimum correlation value for collective behavior detection. Default: 0.60. Identifies coordinated activity patterns across members.
Escalation Cooldown
Probability threshold for escalation triggers. Default: 0.60. Prevents alert fatigue by requiring sustained signals before escalating.
Min Confidence
Minimum confidence level for collective behavior analysis. Default: 0.40. Lower values include more uncertain signals.
Data Retention
How long BIE retains behavioral data in days. Default: 14 days. Older data is automatically purged.
Privacy Suppress
When enabled, suppresses low-confidence behavioral signals to protect member privacy. Default: ON.
