AFK System
Set an AFK status with a custom reason. When someone mentions you while you're away, SYNTHET automatically responds with your AFK message. Your status clears when you come back and send a message.
How It Works
Setting AFK
Use /afk [reason] to mark yourself as AFK. You can optionally provide a reason (e.g., "at lunch", "sleeping", "in a meeting"). If no reason is given, a default message is used.
Auto-Response
When someone @mentions you or replies to your message while you're AFK, SYNTHET sends a brief message letting them know you're away along with your reason and how long ago you went AFK.
Auto-Clear
When you return and send a message in any channel, your AFK status is automatically cleared. SYNTHET sends a quick welcome-back notice showing how long you were away.
Features
Duration Tracking
SYNTHET tracks how long you've been AFK and displays it in auto-responses (e.g., "User has been AFK for 2 hours").
Mention Summary
When you return, SYNTHET tells you how many times you were mentioned while away so you can catch up on what you missed.
Rate Limited
Auto-responses are rate-limited per user to prevent spam. If someone mentions you multiple times in quick succession, only the first mention triggers a response.
Quick AFK
/afk with no reason for a quick away status. You can also include any message as your reason — there's no character limit.AFK Commands
