Core Metrics

These fundamental metrics provide insight into your community's health and engagement:

Health Score (0-100)

Overall server wellness combining activity, member retention, engagement, security, and trend health.

  • 90-100: Excellent - Thriving community with strong engagement
  • 75-89: Good - Healthy activity and stable growth
  • 50-74: Fair - Some concerns, growth opportunities available
  • 25-49: Poor - Significant issues requiring attention
  • 0-24: Critical - Serious problems affecting community

Engagement Rate (%)

Percentage of active members versus total members. Target 50%+ for excellent engagement; 30-50% is healthy.

Member Churn Rate

Members leaving per day/week. Lower is better. Track trends to improve retention strategies.

Message Velocity (per hour)

Average messages sent. Indicates overall activity level and community conversation health.

Growth Rate (net/day)

Best Practices

Review your health score weekly to track progress. Act on alerts within 24 hours. Use activity heatmaps to optimize event scheduling. Correlate analytics with real events (updates, conflicts, etc.). Share insights with your team to make data-driven decisions. Configure alert thresholds to match your community's patterns.

Access Control

Control who can view analytics in your server:

Admin Only

Only server administrators can view analytics. Secure for sensitive data.

Role-Based Access

Grant access to specific roles (Moderators, Leaders, etc.). Recommended for transparency.

Public Access

All members can view analytics. Great for community-driven servers.

Can I export Analytics data?
Yes, use /analytics export to download data as CSV or JSON for external analysis or reporting.
