Dashboard Overview

The SYNTHET web dashboard provides a visual, point-and-click interface to configure every aspect of your server without using commands.

Accessing the Dashboard

You can access the SYNTHET dashboard from any web browser at any time.

Step 1: Log In with Discord

Click "Login with Discord" and authorize SYNTHET to access your account information. This uses OAuth2 for secure, passwordless authentication.

Step 2: Select Your Server

You'll see a list of servers where you have the Manage Server permission. Only those servers will appear. Click on a server to access its dashboard.

Step 3: Start Configuring

You're now in the server dashboard! Use the sidebar navigation to access different modules and settings.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into three main areas:

Header Area

Top of the page: server selector dropdown, search bar, user profile menu, and notification icon

Left Sidebar Navigation

Module categories (Protection, Engagement, Fun, Utilities, Media, Advanced, Monetization) with expandable sub-modules and feature toggles

Main Content Area

Large area displaying the selected module page, module configuration forms, statistics, and action buttons

Main Dashboard Sections

Overview

Server statistics, member activity, message trends, online status, and module health status at a glance

Moderation & Security

Configure auto-moderation rules, logging channels, security settings, view mod logs, and manage infractions

Welcome & Engagement

Set welcome messages, auto-roles, reaction roles, leveling configuration, giveaways, and reputation

Analytics & Insights

View server metrics, member engagement graphs, activity trends, and behavioral insights (Premium)

Settings & Configuration

Global server settings, timezone, prefix, API keys, integrations, and backup/import/export options

Utilities & Tools

Enable/disable modules, custom commands, tickets, channel sync, bulk operations, and other practical tools

Module Management in Dashboard

The dashboard sidebar shows all available modules organized by category. You can quickly enable/disable them:

Quick Toggles

Hover over any module name in the sidebar to reveal a toggle switch. Click to instantly enable or disable.

Manage Modules Page

Navigate to Utilities → Manage Modules for a comprehensive grid view of all modules with descriptions, dependencies, and bulk toggle options.

Disabled Modules

Disabled modules are grayed out in the sidebar. Their data is preserved - you can enable them again anytime without losing configuration.

How Module Pages Work

When you click on a module in the sidebar, you enter its dedicated configuration page:

Main Configuration

Large section at the top with the module's core features, enable/disable toggle, and primary settings

Quick Actions

Buttons for common tasks like "Create New", "Reset to Defaults", "View Logs", or "Test Feature"

Advanced Settings

Expandable sections for power users with fine-grained controls and expert-level options

Save Button

"Save Changes" button is always visible (top and bottom of page). Changes don't take effect until you save.

Server Settings Page

Access global settings for your server under the Settings section:

Timezone & Localization

Set your server's timezone for accurate scheduled events, message timestamps, and logging

Command Prefix

Customize the prefix for text-based commands (default is /). Keep it memorable and short.

Logging & Privacy

Configure global logging behavior, data retention policies, and privacy settings

Data Management

Export server configuration, import from another server, or reset all settings

Integrations & API

Manage API keys, webhook URLs, and connections to external services

Mobile & Tablet Experience

The dashboard is fully responsive and works great on mobile devices:

Hamburger Menu

On small screens, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu. Tap to reveal full navigation.

Touch-Optimized Buttons

All buttons and inputs are sized for comfortable touch interaction (44x44px minimum). Easy one-handed use.

Swipe Navigation

Swipe left to close the sidebar and maximize content. Swipe right to reopen. Intuitive mobile gestures.

Fast Loading

Optimized for mobile networks with lazy loading, minimal data usage, and quick page transitions.

Common Workflows

Enable a New Module

  1. 1. Find the module in the sidebar (or search for it)
  2. 2. Click the toggle switch to enable
  3. 3. Click on the module to open its page
  4. 4. Configure settings and click Save

Customize a Module

  1. 1. Click on the module in the sidebar
  2. 2. Find the setting you want to change
  3. 3. Update the value or select new options
  4. 4. Click Save Changes at the bottom

Backup Your Configuration

  1. 1. Go to Settings → Data Management
  2. 2. Click "Export Configuration"
  3. 3. Save the JSON file to your computer
  4. 4. Later, click "Import Configuration" to restore

Pro Tips

Search: Use Ctrl+K to open the global search. Type a module or setting name to find it instantly.

Hover for Help: Hover over question mark icons and field labels for tooltips explaining what each option does.

Unsaved Changes: The page will warn you if you try to leave with unsaved changes. Don't forget to save!

Keyboard Shortcuts: Use Ctrl+S to save, Ctrl+Z to undo, Escape to close modals. Check Settings for a full shortcut list.
