Community-driven reputation system rewarding trusted members with vouches, tiers, and recognition. Build trust, identify leaders, and motivate positive engagement.
Reputation Commands
Six essential commands for reputation management:
Give Reputation
/rep give <user>Award +1 reputation point to a member you trust. Shows you vouch for their character and value. Can only vouch once per user per day (configurable). Vouch weight depends on your reputation.
Remove Reputation (Mod Only)
/rep take <user>Deduct -1 reputation from a member (moderators only). Used for disciplinary action or removing undeserved reputation. Action logged in audit trail.
Vouch for User
/rep vouch <user>Formally vouch for a member, backing their reputation with your own. Vouch is permanent until revoked. Vouches show on user's profile with your name and timestamp.
Remove Vouch
/rep unvouch <user>Revoke a previous vouch if issued in error or conditions change. Fully reversible action. Removes your name from their vouch list and reduces reputation.
View Reputation Profile
/rep profile [user]View a member's reputation profile showing: total points, tier, recent vouches, profile badges, and reputation history. Check anyone's profile or your own.
Reputation Leaderboard
/rep leaderboardDisplay server's reputation leaderboard showing top 10 most trusted members. Shows names, reputation points, tier badges, and vouch counts.
How Reputation Works
Community-driven system where members earn reputation through vouches from others:
Reputation Calculation
- Base Value: Each vouch = 1 point (configurable)
- Weighted Vouches: Vouches from higher-tier members worth more (1x-3x multiplier)
- Server Multiplier: Global multiplier applied to all reputation gains
- Caps & Limits: Optional maximum reputation ceiling (default: unlimited)

Frequently Asked Questions
Can members vouch multiple times?
Yes, but with cooldown limits (default: 1 vouch per member per day). Configurable per server to prevent spam while allowing ongoing support.
What happens if someone revokes a vouch?
Using /rep unvouch removes the vouch and reduces the target's reputation. Fully reversible. Useful if circumstances change or vouch was given in error.
Can admins give reputation manually?
Yes, admins have /rep add command (similar to /rep give) and can also use /rep take for enforcement. All actions logged in audit trail.
How do roles work with tiers?
Configure tier roles in dashboard. When members reach a tier's point threshold, they automatically receive the associated role. Can be cumulative or replacement-based.
Is reputation decay recommended?
Optional. Decay (e.g., 5% per month) encourages ongoing engagement and prevents stale high-reputation users. Disabled by default. Only enable if you want fresh competition.
Integration & Community Impact
Reputation integrates across your server for maximum impact:
- • Auto-assign roles based on tier for visible recognition
- • Create tier-locked channels (VIP access for high-reputation members)
- • Use reputation for giveaway requirements or event access
- • Display reputation badges in user profiles
- • Integrate with moderation (higher-tier members get benefit of doubt)
- • Reference reputation in welcome messages and onboarding
- • Announce tier-ups in general channel to celebrate members
Troubleshooting
Vouches not working or failing
Check: Is vouch cooldown active? Does voucher meet minimum age/reputation requirements? Is target user blacklisted? Try /rep profile to verify status.
Roles not assigning at tier-up
Verify bot has manage roles permission. Check role hierarchy—bot role must be above tier roles. Confirm tier roles configured in dashboard.
Suspicious vouch patterns detected
Check audit logs (dashboard) for multiple accounts vouching same user. Review with /rep profile <user>. Use /rep take to remove suspicious vouches if needed.
Leaderboard not updating
Leaderboards update every 30 minutes or on demand via /rep leaderboard. Verify bot has send/embed permissions. Check leaderboard channel exists.
